Begin: 4 AM GMT : Friday 05.08.09 : Friday, May 8, 2009 at 9:30:00 AM.

Summary:
Due to new service enhancements being implemented, access to the MX Console at http://portal.mxlogic.com or http://console.mxlogic.com will be intermittently unavailable from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Mountain Time (4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time) Friday May 8 - Saturday May 9, 2009.

Additionally, access to MX Logic Disaster Recovery Services (MX Logic Message Continuity and MX Logic Fail Safe Service) inbox via the MX Console as well as MX Logic Message Archiving Services will be limited. Specifically, mail will continue to be stored and users can enter and exit Fail Safe and Message Continuity mode, however access to the inbox from either portal or console will not be available.

The maintenance time period will not affect any other Email Defense Service or Web Defense Services.

It is likely this the maintenance period will conclude prior to 2:00 a.m. MT (8:00 a.m. GMT), however MX Logic is reserving the entire 4 hour window to complete the upgrade.

Upcoming Service Enhancements:

What’s changed?
- In addition to the Service Enhancements listed in the MX Logic email of 04.14.09, the format for entering time parameters within message search queries will be changed to MM-DD-YYYY (example, 10-26-2008). For single digit months (January through September) or calendar days 1 through 9, the Message Archive system will accommodate the entry of a single number (1 through 9), instead of requiring a two-digit number for all months and days (example, 1/1/2009 for January 1, 2009).

In addition, seconds have been removed from the message search results grid and from statistics in the Message Archiving Summary pane. Time will be formatted in those areas as day/m/dd/yyyy/hh:mm/AM-PM (example, Mon. 5/11/2009 12:04 PM).

Who’s affected?
- Anyone performing a Message Archiving message search.

What’s the benefit?
- The new time format is more familiar to most Message Archiving Service customers, and should enable faster message search data entry.

Message Archiving Outlook 2007 Integration:
In June, MX Logic will expand the MX Logic® Message Archiving Service with the addition of Outlook 2007 integration. The new feature option will enable Message Archiving Service users will be able to search for, view and save copies of archived messages directly through their Microsoft Outlook 2007 email client with the launch of a new Outlook Integration feature. Outlook Integration will be made available at no charge.

Available to all customers Monday, June 2, 2009, this upgrade allows users to locate and view archived messages directly through Outlook 2007, without having to log into the MX Control Console, making access to the archive faster and easier.
