This news article is with respect to your Budget Hosting / Reseller Hosting Services.

We regret to inform that inspite of all our efforts, we were unable to make server live with all its data.

For your Information and Understanding:
The server was equipped with a Redundant Power Supply (RPS) system, to ensure higher availability against power issues even during UPS maintenance by IDC staff.
The RPS connects to a power distribution device. The Power Distribution device malfunctioned (which is an extremely rare event in itself).
Unfortunately during the malfunctioning it sent a voltage surge to the HDD Backplane (the system to which the hot swap hard disks connect).
This caused all the hard disks to fail due to the power surge. Effectively, the RAID card cannot detect the disks any more, which has resulted in a complete data loss.

We are in the process of configuring a new server.
Once setup, we will create new accounts on it with help of existing CRM data.

Please note that as this is a Budget Hosting / Budget Reseller Server, there is no data backup of Server with us, as per terms published on our website.

What you need to do:

Budget Hosting Clients:
1. Upload Web Contents from your backups,
2. Create email ids, forwarders, etc. at your end.
3. Existing data is not available.
4. Please make sure you regularly backup your data.

Budget Reseller Clients:
1. Create Packages,
2. Create Accounts
3. Assign Packages to accounts.

If you are responsible for your customer's data:
a. Upload web contents from your backups.
b. Create email ids, forwarders, etc. at your end.
c. Please make sure you regularly backup your data.
If you are NOT responsible for your customer's data:
Please inform your customer to:
A. Upload web contents from your backups.
B. Create email ids, forwarders, etc. at your end.
C. Please make sure you regularly backup your data.

IP Addresses of the server will remain the same.
Once the server is online, and the accounts created, we shall update the news section on https://www.balasai.com/esupportv4/
